Internal Regulations – Society Sport SA

Welcome to Society Sport.

To ensure a pleasant, safe, and respectful environment for all our members, every user agrees to abide by these internal regulations. These regulations form an integral part of Society Sport SA’s General Terms and Conditions.

1. Club access

• The club is accessible every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Access is strictly personal and reserved for members with a valid subscription.
• Lending or sharing the access badge is strictly prohibited.
• No guest is permitted to access the facilities without the prior approval of Society Sport.

2. Attire and hygiene

To maintain a clean, pleasant, and respectful environment for all members:

• Appropriate sportswear is mandatory.
• Wearing clean sports shoes, reserved exclusively for use inside the club, is mandatory.
• Outdoor shoes are prohibited in the training areas.
• A personal towel is mandatory on all machines, benches, and mats.
• Each member must disinfect the equipment and accessories immediately after use using the materials provided.
• Each member is required to maintain impeccable personal hygiene. Any person whose hygiene or attire might compromise the comfort of other members may be asked to leave the premises temporarily. Society Sport reserves the right to deny access or suspend a member in the event of repeated infractions.

3. Respect for equipment

Each member undertakes to:

• use the equipment in accordance with its intended purpose;
• handle the equipment with care;
• systematically return dumbbells, weights, bars, plates, and accessories to their proper place after use;
• do not intentionally drop loads to the ground, except when necessary for safety reasons;
• Report any anomaly or deterioration to the staff immediately.

Any damage caused intentionally or resulting from clearly inappropriate use may be billed to the responsible member.

4. Respect for other members

Each member agrees to behave respectfully towards other users and staff.

The following are prohibited, in particular:

• aggressive, intimidating, or disrespectful behavior;
• insults, threats, or provocations;
• any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence;
• excessive noise (shouting, playing music without headphones, unnecessarily dropping weights);
• unjustifiably occupying multiple machines or workout areas simultaneously.

5. Phones, photos, and videos

To preserve everyone's peace and privacy:

• Phone calls are prohibited in the training areas;
• phones must be used in silent mode;
• Photos and videos are permitted only when the member appears alone in the image;
• It is strictly prohibited to film, photograph, or record other members or staff without their prior consent;
• The setup of tripods, lighting, or any other filming equipment likely to obstruct traffic or other users is prohibited without authorization from Society Sport.

Society Sport reserves the right to demand the immediate removal of any content that infringes upon a member's privacy or the club's image.

6. Children

For safety reasons:

• Children are not permitted in the club facilities, including waiting areas.

7. Food and drinks

• Beverages are permitted only in sealed water bottles or flasks.
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
• Meals are not permitted in the training areas.

8. Lockers

• The lockers are intended exclusively for use during the session.
• They must be emptied before the member leaves.
• Society Sport accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

9. Private coaching

Only personal trainers approved by Society Sport are authorized to provide services on the premises.

Any unauthorized commercial activity is strictly prohibited.

10. Security

Each member uses the facilities at their own risk.

It is recommended:

• to use the devices in accordance with the instructions;
• to ask the staff for advice in case of doubt;
• to avoid any practice that could endanger their own safety or that of others.

11. Cleanliness

Each member contributes to keeping the premises clean.

In this capacity, he/she undertakes to:

• dispose of waste in the bins provided for this purpose;
• leave the changing rooms, restrooms, and showers in an impeccably clean condition;
• do not leave bottles, towels, or personal belongings in common areas;
• Respect the facilities made available to everyone.

12. Sanctions

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in the following measures, depending on the severity of the incident:

• a written warning;
• a temporary suspension of the right of access to the club;
• permanent expulsion, with immediate effect.

In the event of expulsion due to non-compliance with the rules, inappropriate behavior, or any act compromising the safety, image, or proper functioning of the club, no refund—whether total or partial—of the membership fee will be granted. Any amounts still owed under the contract remain due and payable in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.

13. Club spirit

Society Sport is a space dedicated to sport, well-being, and mutual respect. Through their attitude and behavior, every member contributes to creating a friendly, motivating, and supportive atmosphere. Respect for individuals, the facilities, and the club’s values ​​is essential to maintaining the quality of the experience offered to all our members.

14. Amendment of the regulations

Society Sport SA reserves the right to amend these internal regulations at any time.

The version currently in force is the one published on the website and displayed within the club.

15. Entry into force

These internal regulations are published by Society Sport SA, owner of the brand Society Sport, and applies to all clubs operated under this brand, whether operated directly by Society Sport SA or by a franchisee.

Each operator is responsible for the implementation and observance of these regulations within their establishment.

This regulation enters into force on April 1, 2025. It supersedes any previous version.
